Although many new books are available, older books often include gems that deserve another look. The Outsiders by S.E Hinton was published on April 24, 1967, and it follows the actions of two groups, the Greasers and the Socs, who hate each other and are divided by their socioeconomic status. The story is told from the first-person point of view by the protagonist, 14-year-old Ponyboy Curtis.

The Outsiders has been well-known and loved among many readers.
