The Faith softball team has commenced their season with a respectful 4-2-0 overall record, placing them as the fifth seed in 3A standings. The team has done extraordinarily well in recent years. They have made it to the state tournament the past three seasons and finished last season in the final four. The team is striving to compete at State again this year, and their ultimate goal is to win the 2018 state title. The juniors and seniors on the team are particularly driven to prevail in the championship game after coming up just short in the 2017 season. The players are well on their way to meeting their goal with impressive wins overt Green Mountain, Fort Lupton, Brush, and Peak to Peak thus far. The ladies are led by senior captains, Kenzie Connor and Abrianah McGaw, both who have been recognized for outstanding play in the Metro League and were voted Second Team All-State in 2017. The coaching staff and players are all very passionate about the sport and are committed to bringing home a state title. The team has a long road ahead of them, but they are well prepared for the challenge!
