On Saturday, February 9th, the robotics teams went to Kent Denver to compete for the day. 1826Z had several claw and robot brain malfunctions, causing several repairs throughout the day. 1826Z went 2-2-1 in the qualifying matches, and they later paired with the 9th-ranked team. They had a lower ranking due to bad alliance partners and robot, but oddly enough, the 9th-ranked team was a team that they had tied earlier. They formed the seventh-ranked team and beat every team except the top alliance, which consisted of two Kent Denver teams. They were finalists of the competition that day. They lost 28 to 7, but considering all of the issues that occurred that day, that isn’t even close to half bad.
